Our replica of the original Naperville tavern built in 1834 is ideal for intimate gatherings such as showers, rehearsal dinners and small receptions.. The original Pre-Emption House, built in 1834, stood at the center of Naperville as the first hotel and tavern west of Chicago. Today, you can rent the tavern in our re-created Pre-Emption House for private business meetings, parties and special events.
