Description
Beautiful Studio Space in the East Village available for yoga, dance, movement & somatic arts, as well as private events, parties or meetings.. Our 55C Studio is 46? x 24? with sprung floors, high ceilings and natural lighting. The walls are mirrored on one side and ballet barres on the other, along with artwork displayed by artist in our community. There is a small restroom in the studio for easy access during classes or events, and a second restroom in the lobby for convenience.Our beautiful lobby serves as a Gallery space to local artist. Our space hosts exhibitions on a rolling basis that promote connection between somatic, movement, and visual arts. Our yoga, dance, movement & somatic arts studio can be transformed into a fun party space or productive meeting environment. Our neighborhood is full of arts organizations, community gardens, and new businesses like Lois: Wine on Tap to the Alchemists Kitchen, and long-time gems like the Ryan Nena Medical Center, 6th Street Community Center and the Lower East Side Girls Club. We are accessible by the M9, M14A, M14B and M14D buses, the F, D, M, J and Z trains, and through Astor Place, the R, W and 6 trains.

Rules
Events & classes must end promptly ideally 2 minutes prior to the end of scheduled time. As this is a shared space, all noise must be kept to a minimum in the hallway area and studio door closed while conducting classes. As a residential building, both vocal and recorded sound must be kept in reasonable ranges in all spaces. With the exception of closed containers and water bottles, events requiring food & beverages, must be approved in advance
