Description

Beauty Manor for weddings, special events, filming, photo and video shoots.. Gracemont Manor was built in 1836 by William Stone. For many years it was the home of Benjamin F. Heard. There have been a few other owners. The most notable is Ms. Mildred Barnett who lived in the home for more than three decades. She loved the home and is credited for its amazing gardens.Gracemont has undergone extensive remodeling over the years. The exquisite balcony grillwork came from the old Heard Bank Building that was demolished in 1803 where the history changing last cabinet meeting of the Confederacy was held.Gracemont Manor, situated on five acres of land, is the exquisite southern setting for your wedding or special event. You will enjoy beautiful photo opportunities with our old barns, cottages, horse paddocks, and gardens. The front porch is truly magnificent. Our gardens feature mature azaleas, roses, camellias; incredible pecan, hickory, cedar, magnolia and oak trees; and so much more.We offer styles ranging from the elegant southern belle plantation or the outdoor rustic shabby chic to candlelight poolside and glamorous outdoor tent settings.Gracemont Manor features several ceremony options. We offer the front porch steps and front yard, side gardens with a beautiful arch and columns and more.
