Built in 1955, Hames House was modeled after the DEverueux House, a plantation-turned-bed-and-breakfast in Mississippi, and has been hosting weddings since 2017. The estate features lush gardens, 30-foot columns, and cascading fountains, offering couples a venue with heritage and elegant charm.The 6,600-square-foot house and 25 acre property provides indoor and outdoor event spaces that can accommodate up to 500 guests. Included on the property is the banquet hall, library, heated pool, honeymoon suite, grooms room, and bridal suite, as well as several landscaped outdoor areas that are perfect for photo opportunities. Event spaces include indoor and outdoor spaces, both covered and uncovered, as well as scenic South Georgia views.Other features include a double driveway, upstairs deck that can hold 80, unique and detailed crown molding, and many other items that make this home the perfect Southern get away.
