The South Side Community Art Center has remained on 38th and Michigan, servicing the community and artists for over 77 years! SSCAC was home to renowned artists such as: Archibald Motley, Jr., Richard Hunt, Gordon Parks, Charles White, Eldzier Cortor, Margaret Burroughs, Gwendolyn Brooks, Richard Wright and many of the artists today.
