Built in 1913, located in Highland Park, Los Angeles CA. We are a newly renovated Historical Landmark private event rental venue! . The York Manor, built in 1913, is a recognized historical cultural monument by the City of Los Angeles. The newly renovated event space is located in Highland Park, near Occidental College.The York Manor's Main Room is about 4,500 sq. ft. featuring the original hardwood floors, vaulted exposed beam and slat wood ceiling highlighted by the chandeliers. The newly installed curtains allow for the space to made more intimate for smaller events.The 10,000 square foot lot has both front and back yards as part of the rental package. This allows for both reception and ceremony to be taken place at our venue. They have been updated with drought resistant landscaping, privacy fencing, shade sails and market lights to create a garden oasis in the middle of a bustling city.The kitchen is great for easy on site catering prep and bar service, it also works well for Kraft Service staging and crew meals. Please note: it is not commercial grade and is for prepping, warming, and light cooking at most. The 2 prep islands are easily moved to accommodate different set-ups.We have now launched our speakeasy event space in the basement that can be added on to your event. Use this space for an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour area and an after party
