For over a decade, Substrate Gallery has helped artists market and sell their work. . We have hosted art exhibits and events for: The John Denver Estate, Peter Saville (Factory Records, Joy Division, New Order), Will Sergeant (Echo and the Bunnymen), Daniel Ash (Bauhaus, Love & Rockets). The Gallery is a 700 square foot all white studio space, including floors making it ideal for photo shoots, social events and art openings. The space provides an intimate, setting for private parties, cocktail receptions and meetings in Hollywood's Studio District. Located 1/2 block from Paramount Studios and across the street from world famous La Buca Restaurant. There is also a Mexican restaurant and several small markets and shops within a one block radius. The Gallery is known for cutting edge contemporary exhibitions, sound performance and not-to-be-missed events. Your guests will be surrounded by local and international art exhibited throughout the 700 square foot space. The space is available for film screening, performance art, theater, casting calls, fittings, screen tests, or soirees. * No smoking inside * No glass of any kind * No loud music after 11pm * Artwork can only be moved by the host upon request * Leaving your space in the condition in which it was received * All artworks, sculptures and film equipment of all kinds must have protective feet * Trash must be taken out at the end of the booking and placed in the outdoor dumpster
